“We consider the Rose of Sharon Home, Inc. in Saint Michael, PA to be a gift from God. We are blessed to still have three elderly loved ones in our lives. It’s comforting to know that they are in a place surrounded by capable, caring, and compassionate workers. Although it’s true that ‘there’s no place like home,’ our loved ones have truly become part of a family at the Rose of Sharon. The godly atmosphere was evident the moment we entered the place. This home goes the extra mile to accommodate the specials needs of our family. If you have loved ones who can’t be cared for at home anymore, we encourage you to visit and strongly consider the Rose of Sharon Home.“

– Sally Hinton
“I have worked at the Rose of Sharon Home for 15 years! What an open door to share the love of Christ, to learn from, to laugh with, and to cry with our oldest and dearest people. I thank the Lord for planting me here!”
– Polly Rummel, Head Cook
“We feel very fortunate that my mother was able to get into the Rose of Sharon personal care home. It really is a ‘home.’ Every resident here is treated like family and the staff makes each individual feel like they belong. The staff meets every need (i.e. medical, meals, medicines, doctor care, movement therapy activities, entertainment, arts & crafts, games, religion, hair stylist and anything else that is helpful) and the personal interactions between staff, residents and visitors give a ‘homey’ atmosphere to all. It’s like visiting your family’s home except you don’t have to knock or ring the doorbell. I noticed during my many visits that the women treat each other like sisters, and the men treat each other as brothers. Visitors are always welcomed warmly by residents and staff and also made to feel as part of this ‘family.’ When the time comes that a loved one needs taken care of and you want a safe, clean, healthy and friendly environment; the Rose of Sharon personal care home is the place.”
– John Waksmunski

– Amber Polca, Administrative Assistant
“Working at the Rose of Sharon Home was one of the best experiences I had. It taught me so much that I will carry with me in my future career. I really believe everyone going into the medical field should have an experience caring for someone in that way, it will affect the way I treat patients for the rest of my life”
